BELIZE CITY – The Belize Civic Center grounds will be transformed into a festival hub to host the first-ever Pickstock Community Festival on Saturday, January 27, 2024.
In collaboration with the Belize City Council, the Pickstock Community is taking a lesson from the St. Martin Community’s Fest’s playbook and following suit in organizing a day of activities mainly for the children of the community. An all-kids zone fully equipped with bouncy houses, trampolines, face painting, and more will be available.
The festival runs from 11 AM to 8 PM – so later on in the night, live performances from some of Belize’s very best will take place. On the line up we have, J.Cas, TR Shine, Britney Starr, J Monie, 6Frass, Cindy the Violinist, and even the Pantemperts Steel Orchestra. They will all be backed up by Blue Steel Sounds.
The fun-filled day will be a family affair and one that will surely strengthen the community’s bonds.
While some may akin the Belize City Council’s partnership and likely sponsorship of this event as some fuel in the tank of its ongoing campaign for the 2024 Municipal Elections – we at 501 Publicized endorse and bless any meaningful community-building activity.
Respect.
