High-level football matches are set to be played across the country this weekend as Week 10 of the Premier Football League season 2022 commences. The single game on Saturday will be played between San Pedro Pirates and Internacional Futbol Club in Ambergris Caye.
Port Loyola FC, a new team from Southside Belize City has been making a name for itself, and waves in the football community. The match set between them and Verdes FC is highly anticipated. Verdes FC is a champion with a laundry list of accolades too extensive to mention here, but for many, the bet is on the underdog.
That game will be played at the Marion Jones Sporting Complex in Belize City at 4:00 pm on Sunday.
The People’s Stadium in Orange Walk will host Benque Viejo United FC in their match against Progresso FC on Sunday afternoon.
And in Dangriga Wagiya SC will go up agasint the Altitude DC also on Sunday, March 19 starting at 4 in the evening.
